U.S.D.A. Specifications

Motors and drives used in food processing applications such as baking, canning, meat packing industries must meet certain minimum requirements. Paints, primers and sealants must be U.S.D.A. approved even though motors and drives are usually considered as 'outside the product zone', not in direct contact with the food being processed. Primers or paints containing zinc, lead, chromates or other toxic materials are not acceptable. The paint used on CORRO-DUTY®, ALLGUARD® and Food & Beverage Duty products is U.S.D.A. approved. Lubricants in Food & Beverage Duty products are also U.S.D.A. approved.
