A.C. ELECTRIC MOTORS
TEFC CAST IRON MOTORS
A new concept in cast iron motors for 24 hour-a-day service in process duty applications, including mill and chemical duty. 1 through 350 HP energy efficient Type CT cast iron frame and cast iron bracket motors in stock. "C" Face, "D" Flange, cast iron conduit box, and cast iron fan cover kits available.
AUTOMOTIVE DUTY MOTORS
"U" Frame, cast iron, quiet, cool running, efficient products in 1 through 300 HP to meet the demanding requirements of the automotive industry. Type JAD is the high efficiency offering and Type JADE meets premium efficiency performance levels.
EXPLOSIONPROOF MOTORS
Utilized in explosive atmospheres in grain handling, petrochemical, mining, and pulp and paper industries where designated by the National Electrical Code as a hazardous location. Underwriter's label provided on 3/4 through 700 HP three phase ratings which feature rugged cast iron construction throughout. Single phase foot mounted and "C" Face models available from 1/4 through 2 HP. Also available from stock with CORRO-DUTY protection.
CLOSE-COUPLED PUMP MOTORS
Used for industrial and agricultural pumping applications which require specific shaft extensions. Available from 1 through 50 HP in Open Dripproof, High Efficiency Unimount® , Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled, and Explosionproof models. Features oversized ball bearings, class F insulation, and 1.25 service factor on TEFC units.
FARM DUTY MOTORS
Available from 3/4 through 10 HP, single phase TEFC ratings, in both standard "AG" duty and high torque farm duty for powering farm equipment in remote areas where three phase power supplies are not available.
CORRO-DUTY® MOTORS
Meets severe environment, continuous duty application requirements in the pulp and paper, petroleum, chemical, mining, and food processing industries. 1 to 350 HP models have protective features which include totally enclosed fan cooled all cast iron construction, class F insulation, 1.15 service factor, and special internal and external coatings. Premium efficiency ratings also available.
HORIZONTAL TITAN® LINE MOTORS
(Above NEMA Frame Sizes) The right product for really BIG jobs such as air handling, liquid handling, and utility industries which demand reliable motors above NEMA frame sizes.
Available from 400 through 4000 HP in Open Dripproof, Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled, Weather Protected Types I and II, Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled, and Explosionproof enclosures.
OPEN DRIPPROOF MOTORS
ODP motors available from 1/3 to 350 HP in both steel and cast iron enclosures. Our ODP motors are available in energy and premium efficiency, have a 1.15 service factor as standard, and are built with Class F insulation materials.
841 PLUS®
In severe duty motor applications - especially in petro-chemical, pulp and paper plants, the 841 PLUS motor exceeds the 1997 federally legislated and IEEE-841 efficiency levels by providing superior protection and premium efficiency. Offers cast iron construction and a uniquely designed precision balanced rotor which minimizes vibrations and extends bearing and equipment life. Low-loss steel silicon for higher efficiency (lowers your cost through lower operating temperatures and lower energy costs). Class F insulation, dual gasketed, rotatable conduit box, strategically located breather drain, double shielded, vacuum degassed ball bearings, compact non-sparking fan, stock motors: 1 thru 200HP, 2-6 pole, 460 and 575 volt.
INVERTER GRADE™ MOTOR
The proven performance of this A.C. motor puts the benefit back in your adjustable frequency drive investment whether you need a horizontal, vertical, blower-cooled or flux vector controlled motor. Offers precision performance needed to match speed and torque to your specific requirements (constant and variable applications). Reduced energy costs and measurable improvement in process control. Premium efficient components. Inverter Grade™ insulation systems with superior pulse endurance.
WORLD MOTOR®
Our World Motor, introduced in 1997, lends itself to international requirements and is available in open dripproof, totally enclosed fan cooled and Hostile Duty cast iron designs. Some of the World Class features include 50 or 60 cycle operation, 208-230/460 or 230/460 at 60 Hertz - also operates on 190/380 volt at 50 Hertz, C-Face and D-Flange kits available, double shielded vacuum degassed bearings, 250 frames and larger ratings suitable for Wye-Delta starting, removable base on all Unimount® TEFC ratings. The World Motor nameplate includes 50 & 60 Hertz and the "CE" mark for sales to the European community.
VERTICAL MOTORS
Developed by U.S. Electrical Motors, Vertical Holloshaft® (VHS) motors are available in both NEMA and TITAN sizes from 1/2 to 4000 HP are used to power deep well high thrust pumps.
Vertical Solid Shaft (VSS) motors are applied to direct-connected, low thrust, high radial loads.
Both types feature NEMA "P" Base, and are available in Open Weather Protected Types I & II, Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled, and Explosionproof enclosures. Three efficiency choices: Standard, high and premium efficiency ratings are available.
VARIDRIVE®
Rugged, reliable, simple, economical mechanical belt drive handles applications requiring peak loads, starting loads, and shock loads. Packaged motor, transmission, and gear drive available from 1/4 to 50 HP. ENDOLUBE 2® construction eliminates need for shaft or disc lubrication.
