Sole Plate

Purpose:
A Sole Plate is supplied when the customer requires a stable foundation to anchor the motor.

Construction/Installation:
The Sole Plate is a metal plate between 1.0" and 1.5" thick with four 3/4" thick reinforcement pads welded under each foot of the motor. The plate is attached to the existing surface by either grouting or by using the four outer mounting holes. Once the pad is in place the motor can be mounted directly to the sole plate.

Availability:
Sole Plates are available for horizontal frames from 5000 - 6800, and are supplied for the specific frame size being used.
